Who these terms are between

These terms are between you and jked. They cover the services you book with us and your use of this website.

REMBO Site supplies the booking page, till and website software, but it is not the salon and does not provide the beauty services. The platform's own terms, at https://pos.rembo.site/terms, govern the salon's use of the software.

By booking an appointment or using this website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not book through the site; contact us and we will explain the alternatives.

Bookings and appointments

• An online booking is a request for the service, stylist or table and time you choose. We confirm it using the contact details you give us; until then the slot is not guaranteed.
• Please arrive on time. If you arrive late we will do our best to complete the service, but we may need to shorten it or move it so the next client is not delayed.
• Give us accurate contact details so we can confirm, remind you or tell you about a change. You are responsible for keeping that number reachable.
• We may need to change or cancel an appointment because of staff illness, a closed day, an emergency or a safety issue. If that happens we will contact you and offer another time or a refund of any deposit paid.
• Repeated late arrivals, no-shows or abusive conduct may lead us to ask for a deposit or to decline future bookings.

Services, prices and payment

• Prices are shown in Kenyan shillings. The price confirmed at booking is the price for that service, unless you ask for extra work or products during the visit, in which case we will tell you the additional cost before doing it.
• We accept the payment methods shown at the salon, which may include cash, card and M-Pesa. An M-Pesa request on your phone is not proof that a payment has completed; the receipt is issued once the payment is confirmed.
• Where a deposit is required for a long or costly appointment, we will explain the amount and how it is applied before you pay it. A deposit is normally credited against the final bill.
• Refunds and re-dos are handled by the salon under its service policy. If you are unhappy with a service, tell us promptly so we can inspect it and put it right.
• Price lists and offers can change. The price on the day you book applies to that booking.

Cancellations, changes and no-shows

If you need to change or cancel, contact us as early as you can so the time can be offered to another client. The notice period we ask for is the one explained when you book; for long appointments it may be longer.

A late cancellation or a no-show may mean we keep a deposit or apply the policy explained at booking. We will not charge a fee that was not disclosed to you.

If you cancel in time and have paid a deposit, we will refund it or hold it for a new booking, as explained at the time.

Loyalty points

• Where the salon runs a loyalty programme, points are earned on paid visits at the rate shown on this website and are stored against your client record.
• Points have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold, and can only be redeemed at this salon.
• Points may expire or the programme may change or end. We will explain any expiry rule before applying it.
• Points earned through an incorrect sale, a reversed payment or misuse may be corrected or removed.

Using this website

• Do not use the website to submit false bookings, impersonate another person, send abusive messages, or attempt to access records that are not yours.
• The salon name, logo, photographs and text on this site belong to the salon or are used with permission. Do not copy or republish them without consent.
• If a photograph shows a client, it is published with that client's permission. If you are in a photo and want it removed, contact us and we will take it down.
• Booking forms and messages are monitored for security. Attempts to break into the site or the platform may be reported.

For salon staff

Staff sign in with their own details and may only use the access their role allows. Logins must not be shared. Bookings, sales, commission and payouts recorded in the system are the salon's records, and actions taken with a staff login are written to an audit log.

Commission, advances and payouts are calculated from the rates and rules the salon sets. If a staff member disagrees with a figure, they should raise it with the salon, which can inspect the original sale lines.

Liability

jked is responsible for providing the services with reasonable care and skill, for the products it uses, and for the advice it gives. REMBO Site is responsible for the software that runs the website and till, but is not a party to the service you book with the salon.

To the extent permitted by Kenyan law, the salon is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and the platform provider is not liable for a salon's business decisions or for losses caused by a payment provider, mobile network or internet outage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.

Your information

The salon collects and uses your information as described in its Privacy Policy on this website. That notice explains what is collected, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when our services or the law change. The current version is always on this page with its update date, and a material change will be explained before it applies to a new booking.
